Wilmington Mayor Presents Proclamation

On April 28, 2010, the Valley of Wilmington held its annual Fish Fry. The weather was beautiful and we had a very good turnout. During the event, the Mayor of Wilmington, the Honorable William Safo, presented a proclamation to the Scottish Rite Masons from the Valley of Wilmington, in recognition of their efforts in raising money to benefit the Rite Care Childhood Speech Learning Centers in North Carolina. We would like to express our thanks to all who helped make this year’s event another success.

Wilmington Scottish Rite Golf Tournament

This summer, the Valley of Wilmington is sponsoring a Golf Tournament at the NEW and prestigious "Cape Fear National" in Leland, NC. This tournament will be on August 6th and is open to the public We encourage you to invite your family, friends and neighbors to participate. The cost for an individual is $150.00 and includes (1) Green Fees & Cart, (2) Tournament Lunch & Beverages, and (3) Awards Reception. Due to a change in date, a new brochure is being made. Win a New Cadillac CTS

On October 15, 2010, the Valley of Wilmington will be holding a raffle, with a 2010 Cadillac CTS as the Grand Prize. There will be incremental prizes along with food and fun for all. See the "Announcements" page for details.

New Master Craftsman Graduates

A.C. Everett, 33°, the General Secretary of the Valley of Wilmington, presented Certificates and Pins to Darryl H. Evans, 32°, KCCH and Ken Hooks, 32°, KSA on their completion of the Master Craftsman I course. We are very proud of their achievements and encourage all members of the Valley to learn more about the lessons taught in the Scottish Rite degrees by enrolling in this course. Master Craftsman II Graduate

On June 10th at our stated meeting, Richard Knauss, 32°, KCCH was presented a pin and certificate in recoginition of his completion of the Master Craftsman II course. This course is available to all graduates of the Master Craftsman program who wish to continue their journey into having a better understanding of the Scottish Rite degrees.

Fall Reunion

The Fall Reunion will be held on October 29 & 30. All degree team captains are encouraged to line up your team members and begin to schedule practices. In order to grow our Valley, all Scottish Rite Masons must get petitions to prospective candidates. Petitions are available at the Temple or on the "Members" page of this web-site. Remember that the initiation fee will now be $300.00 per candidate.
